I just read an article about lunar bases and the new space race with China. It was thrilling. I want to write code for the new lunar platform. I think the moon might be the ultimate server co-location. It can beam down information to earth to cover an entire hemisphere at a time. The ultimate content delivery service would be the Moon. The idea of an antenna array spanning the lunar equator would be a good start. Then the ability to beam "satellite data" back to Earth which could be received by the entire hemisphere. Of course there would need to be Earth based repeating stations to get that data to the "dark side" or other side of the planet if required. Please sign me up!
